Le riz paddy est un riz spécial, non décortiqué et énergétique. Ce type de friandise est apprécié par tous les types d’oiseaux, des canaris aux perruches, en passant par les perroquets, le riz paddy est un vrai délice !
Vous pouvez donner des graines de riz paddy sous trois formes différentes : sec, humide ou germé. Sachez que la valeur nutritive de la graine de riz croit à son contact avec l’eau, cependant les oiseaux, et particulièrement les “gros becs” tels que les moineaux du japon ou les padda, les préfèrent le plus souvent à sa forme initiale.
Bien plus qu’un complément alimentaire, vous pouvez proposer le riz paddy comme une alimentation secondaire à vos oiseaux. Faible en protéines, l’association du riz paddy et du millet en grappe et ou de pâtée est cohérente
